Generally speaking, it is enable you to listen to your music anywhere in your house. What the system do is it turn your current hi-fi audio equipment into a wireless, multi-room digital music system through two new units; the Sonos ZonePlayer 80s (ZP80s) and a Sonos Controller.

What do you need to do is just connect a ZP80 to any amplified audio device in any room and that device is instantly and seamlessly part of a wireless, multi-room digital music system. You can control all your music from the included wireless Controller upto 32 rooms.

The ZP80 comes with digital (optical and coaxial) and analog outputs and includes auto-sensing line-in connectors that can digitally encode any line-in source such as an MP3 player, a CD player or satellite radio, to any ZonePlayer.
